Devin & Valerie's Beautiful Wedding Day

I posted here about this same couples beautiful engagements. Their wedding day was just as beautiful and I felt very privileged to take their pictures on their special day. They were married in the Denver LDS Temple and had their reception at a some truly beautiful gardens. It was really one of the most enjoyable receptions I have ever been to.

Beautiful Headshots

So I know this girl. Her name is Carissa and she is very stunning. I have gotten to know her through a couple of classes we've had together and have become really good friends. She wanted some headshots done for a portfolio she was putting together and she asked me to take them. I was so thrilled to do this for her and we had such a blast that day!

For her portfolio she wanted some smiling and some not smiling with a very serious face. These were actually really fun to take and edit. They were so cool because usually I'm used to the beautiful smiles of couples in love, which I love, but it was a nice change up.

We went to some really cool places for these pictures and she looked beautiful in all them no matter where we took the pictures!

Devin and Valerie = Very Much In Love

Devin and Valerie are good friends of mine and are the sweetest couple I have ever met. I loved taking their pictures because they had such fun energy.  Laughter was enjoyed by everyone who was there. They were always making funny faces and doing crazy poses. I can't wait to take their wedding pictures in August in Colorado!

 

So here is part of their story.......

Devin and Valerie met at a big gathering of people at his apartment and that's the first time they really talked and where it all began! I was visiting Valerie with my roommate and the three of us were all interested in someone in the same apartment but not dating yet. Valerie to Devin (engaged), Lindsay to Ben (getting married tomorrow), and Me to Nathan (in a relationship). The three of us made a bet that who ever got in a relationship first got treated to ice cream by the other two. Well Valerie won and I still owe her ice cream there were a few other bets but probably shouldn't be mentioned here...

They fell in love quickly and were almost inseparable. They dated for several months and then the day she was supposed to leave for break to Colorado they went for a picnic and that's when he proposed! They get married in August and I can't wait to see them get married.

Jennifer and Samuel's Wedding Day

In April I had the wonderful opportunity to take wedding pictures for two wonderful people that I met for the first time the day of their wedding after they had been married. They were so sweet and wonderful and fun to work with.

They met at BYU on a blind date which proves to me that I guess blind dates can work out. They really seemed to love each other and I love when that translates to the pictures that I take. I love the Bountiful temple so it was a wonderful day all around.

Aaron & Vanessa Engagements

In honor of their wedding day today, I thought I would make my first post to this blog of them. These two are so much fun and both have really funny personalities. Taking pictures with them was really fun because I never knew what I was going to get, especially from Aaron.

These two met back in their singles ward in Virginia last summer. They dated and eventually they fell in love. After the summer was over, Aaron went back to BYU-Provo and Vanessa went to BYU-Idaho which was hard but when they went home for Christmas break on New Years Eve Aaron proposed and she said YES!

That's how I got to know Vanessa. She moved to Provo winter semester and became my roommate. I love her and Aaron. They are so much fun and were great to live with. They always made the apartment very entertaining. I love you Aaron and Vanessa. Congratulations on getting married today!
